Team Waoo is ready for Tour of Denmark
Wednesday, Team Waoo lines up for Tour of Denmark. “Were hope to race offensive and optimistic,” says DS Daniel Foder.
Team Waoo is ready for Denmarks biggest cycling event, Tour of Denmark. This year, the race starts with an 169,7 km long stage in and around the city of Silkeborg. The riders are facing almost 730 km over five days, where the peloton will have to struggle the infamous Kiddesvej in Vejle, before the race ends at Frederiksberg Allé in Copenhagen sunday the 25th of August.
23-year-old Jesper Schultz is ambitious about the stage race: “I have expectations for a good PostNord Danmark Rundt. It’s my fifth time doing the race, and this year I will try to make a good figure in the GC. I’ve been practicing on my TT, which have been a constraint earlier”.
DS Daniel Foder hopes that the team can make themselves noticed underway: “We are coming to PostNord Danmark Rundt with the ambition of racing offensive. PostNord Danmark Rundt is one of the biggest races of the year, which of course puts pressure on our riders, but I hope they are able to race a freely”.
Team Waoo is represented by Jesper Schultz, Martin Mortensen, Silas Clemmensen, Andreas Hyldgaard Jeppesen, Michael Carbel and Rasmus Guldhammer.
