Daniel Foder joins NTT Pro Cycling as Sports Director
Former rider, 36-year-old Daniel Foder, joins the South African World Tour team, NTT Pro Cycling, as Sports Director.
With over a decade of experience in the Danish continental division, it came as no surprise that Daniel Foder took upon the trainer and sports director job, when he ended his career in 2016. Daniel Foder finished off his cycling career at Virtu Cycling’s continental team, Team VéloCONCEPT, where he could claim the Danish TTT national championship for the 2nd year in a row in 2016. In 2017 he stepped in as sports director on the exact same team.
Since 2017, Daniel Foder has been sports director and coach on Virtu Cycling’s continental teams, where he has taken part in bringing his riders to both of the U23 national championships in 2017 and helping multiple Danish talents to reach the World Tour. Naturally, Foder joins Virtu Cycling in becoming a part of NTT Pro Cycling.
For Daniel Foder this new opportunity is a dream come true.
”I am extremely happy for this opportunity. It has been a dream and my professional ambition to work on the highest level within cycling. So, it is definitely a dream come true for me. At the moment, I am being introduced to the set-up, which is new and much bigger than I am used to, but essentially, my work with the riders is the same as before, just on a bigger scale. And I am looking forward to getting started”.
Daniel Foder will join Lars Bak and Lars Michaelsen, who are both working as sports directors on NTT Pro Cycling.
